Dr Eve (Jie) Jiang has an interdisciplinary background spanning business, management, law, and economics. She holds a PhD in Management Science and Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China. During her doctoral studies (2018–2020), she was a visiting researcher at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, hosted by Professor David Teece and Professor Henry Chesbrough. She also holds a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property & Information Law from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial and Economic Law from the China University of Political Science and Law.

Research / Scholarly interests

  • Her academic specialisation lies in strategic decision-making, technological innovation, R&D management, and corporate performance. She employs quantitative research methodologies, drawing on tools such as R, Python, and Stata.
  • Her current work focuses on AI-driven corporate R&D management and business model innovation in the electric vehicle industry. More broadly, her research explores how strategic management and innovation shape corporate success.
