Hannah Turner

Hannah Turner BSc Hons

Lecturer in Midwifery

Hannah joined the Faculty of Health and Human Sciences as a Midwifery Lecturer in September 2025 and is predominantly based at the Medway Campus. Hannah has been a qualified midwife since 2016 and in that time has worked across all areas of inpatient maternity and some time in a case loading team. Most recently since 2023, Hannah was working within the education team as a Student Practice Facilitator supporting students clinically and pastorally in placement. Clinical skills teaching and simulation are a particular interest to Hannah and one she would love to explore more as interactive learning is so important. Hannah continues to grow as an educator and an academic, fostering the development of the next generation of midwives.
